It’s of course not ideal if you’re trying to track your order and the Track & Trace has been showing the same status for a while. Fortunately, this usually doesn’t mean something is wrong. In this article, we explain how this can happen, when you do need to take action, and what is best to do in that case.
Why does the status sometimes stay the same?
Sometimes a shipment is delayed at the delivery service due to force majeure. For example, think of busy sorting centres, delays en route or other circumstances that mean a parcel isn’t scanned for a while. In such cases, it may seem as though your parcel is “stuck”, while in reality it is often already on its way.
When is there usually an update?
In most cases, you’ll see a new scan or status update in the Track & Trace within 24 to 48 hours. The best thing you can do during this period is to keep an eye on the Track & Trace; that’s always the most up-to-date source.
No update after 48 hours? Contact us
If there is still no change visible in your Track & Trace after 48 hours, please contact our customer service. We’ll be happy to look into it for you and help you further with an appropriate solution and correct completion of the shipment.
Summary
Due to force majeure, it can happen that your Track & Trace is not updated temporarily. Usually, an update follows within 24-48 hours. If the status is still the same after 48 hours, please contact our customer service – we’ll take care of it together.
