Have you placed an order and (partly) paid with a gift card, but the product isn’t quite what you were looking for? No problem at all. Orders paid for with a gift card can also be returned as usual.
Since the refund process works a little differently than with a regular bank payment, we’re happy to explain what you can expect.
How does the refund work?
Once we have received and processed your return, we will refund the purchase amount in the same way you paid.
If you paid with a gift card, this means the amount you paid with it will be refunded to that same gift card. The balance will simply be topped up again, so you can use it for a future purchase.
What about the validity?
You might be wondering whether the validity period of your balance changes after it’s been refunded. That’s not the case.
The original expiry date of your gift card remains unchanged. The amount we refund will therefore keep the same ‘use by’ date the card had when you first used it.
In short: keep your gift card code safe until your return has been fully processed, then you’ll be able to use your balance again for something else fun!
